Debt management could help relationships
Debt management could help relationships

The Scottish Widows Priority of Life Index reveals that one in eight people believe they need to solely focus on making sure ends meet, while over a third are worried about neglecting their relationships in the process.
Some 23 per cent don't prioritise their partners as much as they would like, states the study.
Commenting on the figures, savings expert for Scottish Widows Alison Morris said relationships should take precedence over money worries.
"We understand that making time for loved ones can be difficult but our research shows that the majority of people ideally want their partner to be their top priority in life, far above work or finances.
"By looking ahead and planning their finances now, people can spend more time focusing on the important things in life such as their loved ones," she said.
Ms Morris advised those able to put money aside for retirement to save 12 per cent of their income, which would "put people's minds at rest" and allow them to focus on other priorities.
Pressure on UK households does not appear to be easing, with new economic forecasts from the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR) warning of rising unemployment, reduced disposable income and rising inflation over the next two years.
